Yesterday: You can link to bookmarks, pages, sections within a pdf (stackoverflow) by appending #page=number or #nameddest=sectionlabel. Unsure if this works within the FreeMind program. Briefly looked into how to add links via latex, but have put aside. Reworked presentation and added comments to illustrate: not skinning, ordered RGB-DN(ormals) as input, de-emphasize Chang's work, and working in real not projected space. A couple hours spent on rebuilding full graph illustration.

Today: Continuing to add slides for: papers from proposal, paper and reading list, definitions, fundamental math, approach details (validating test suites and case study examples); and other minor updates. For papers, continue creating slide per-item, filling them in as I go along (update latex paper notes as well). Adjust transition between high and low level by connected better with the wishlist.

Where Does this Fit In: The candidacy exam demonstrates my capacity to be an independent researcher and make meaningful contributions to the research community. This enables me to continue to my work in developing the animal3d project.
