Many people have their own religious convictions and beliefs. Things that hold them together as a person, things that uphold their morals and thoughts.

I do not believe that there is one god, or many gods; one goddess or many goddesses; one supreme being or many.

However, in a self indulgence, I try to believe in an eternity afterlife wherein we are able to re-live our own life, our past experiences and our past self.

The reason I wish to believe in this so dearly is because I long to relive the joys of my younger days. Regardless that I do not have a long time line currently, there are many moments that I wish to relish, and revive, which, of course, can not in accordance with any appropriateness. Even if we had the ability to travel back through time, I would be the traveller, not reliving the joy of a hug, or the pleasure of being part of a team, or the warmth kitchen banter.

Do not criticize me for my contrary position. I do not believe in a supreme being, and in all honesty, I do not believe that there is anything for us after we pass from this life. However part of me, the same part that wants to believe in magic, and in the honour of humans, wishes to believe that someday, somehow, in some realm, I can relive the hours of my past.

With this concept in mind do I try to approach life. I live in the moment, and surround myself so that I will have much to relive, and have much to breath in, and much to feel. If one has to select magazines for a lifetime on a deserted island, one chooses their favourites. I hope to make many of my memories all favourites, so that I have much reliving material in my fantasized eternity.

May we all find peace and joy in a world that has delved away from such love and caring.
